So a few days back, Dawne propitioned me with having Syd over today for a sleepover with Luke, Olivia and Max. No brainer. I love that she gets the kiddos together on the weekends just to hang out and have fun together; I'm so fortunate to have someone like her that genuinely cares
so much for the kids she watches.
Before we got to going over there, though, Sydni insisted on showing me what
she would look like dressed up in mama's gear. If there was ever a time I would call MINI-ME, this would definitely have been one of those pinnacle moments, to date.

I didn't realize I'd have a little neffhead so early on. Haha. It was adorable, and even though there maaaay have been some tickling involved to coax a camera smile out, we managed to capture the moment, and I love it.
Speaking of mama/daughter things, we did some experimenting with braids today. I did one on myself [5-strand], and Sydni got her
very first french braid.
Hold on. Let's rewind to SYDNI ... got her VERY FIRST... french BRAID.
... Someone call Guinness! Haha. Kidding, but see for yourself!:

I dropped Sydni off at Dawne's early in the afternoon; the other little ones were already there, anxiously awaiting Sydni to come and complete the squad of mini's for their big slumber party. I met back up with Rob and we headed out to South County to pick up something for his truck [boys and their toys ;) ]. It was then lunch at 54th Street and a cruise through the South County Mall. It ended with no purchases [kudos to both of us, but moreso to me.. on that one], and we made our way back to his place. He took care of some random stuff around his house while Sasha kept me company.

| some good old pibble love ;) |
In the typical fashion of most weekends with Rob and me, we didn't have much - okay,
nothing - set in stone as far as plans went, but it worked itself out with us playing it by ear. We wound up stopping by to visit the newly-renovated house of one of his friends/former roommates, then the lot of us opted for pool and food. Low key. Good call.
That turned into us hopping around to a few different places before we finally landed at Bindy's for the night. Not a bad way to end an evening. And of course, if you can manage some funny pictures from it all, then that's all you really need ;)
