Knitted Neckwear Debut

I did it!

Here I thought I would only be able to handle a miniature garment for a miniature person, but as it turns out, I'm not entirely awful at conquering full-sized projects. Keep in mind, I'm still a novice with knitting needles. I've explained before that I do have a history working with crochet hooks, so I'm moderately comfortable in that regard. Anyway, I've been dropping hints about this scarf on which I've been working for the past week[ish] or so, and to prove that it's not a figment of my creative imagination, I bring proof [behold!] for all the skeptics, and of course all of you, my dear blogbots.

I took two shots of my latest yarnball: one when I was doing a trial run after I'd just completed it, and the other with it working in action as part of an outfit. I realize it's not the most complicated thing, but for what it's worth, I was surprised the thing actually fit and fell the way I'd planned and it didn't fall apart half way through the day. High five for me? Yeah? Ok, maybe not, but give me some credit that I managed to escape craft embarrassment with a faulty production.

It's early for me to be blogging already, and I'm not sure what this evening's Bible study will produce, but I have a feeling it'll be good, like always.

Today was supposed to be the last high-temp day for a while; I heard tomorrow's gonna be something like gloomy.

Blah :p
