I don't know about a lot of you, but I personally am one of those folks who strives off of lists. I have a checklist for everything. It seems insanely contradictory, seeing as I'm also the same person who is perpetually failing at that thing called planning. I hate planning. I think that's why I do in fact like lists so much. It gives me a range of motion in which I can exercise my own discretion of prioritizing and execution. It's sheerly mental. I get that.
Whatev'.
I said all that to preface the fact that over the last couple of months or so, we've had Wendy in our office on a bi-weekly basis to assist with overall office morale, more specifically gearing us into a mode of daily workflow that maximizes each of us according to our own potential. Yenno, motivational kicks in the rear end to get the brain moving. I'm all for it.
One of the tools she introduced to us is called Daily Gratitudes. It's formatted as something to be done quickly at both the beginning at end of each day, and is purely personal. She presented it to us as a series of questions to ask ourselves each day, and from there I formatted it into an actual form, thus erasing doubt of skipping a question. You can tell I made it if yo ulook at the grading system: Scale of 1-10, letter grades, and pass/fail. I couldn't decide which one I liked best so I added them all. Some days I wish I'd added a thumbs up/thumbs down.
I just finished the end of day portion of today's daily gratitudes, and I have to say I'm streamlined in thought as it relates to work for the time being. This fun stuff can wait until tomorrow.

Major kudos to Wendy for her incredibly simple insight and advice on how to make the most of what I do. Happy Wednesday, friends!
