I needed a good laugh today. Glad I could get it at the expense of someone who thought it appropriate to exercise senioritis on a job interview. *sigh.

Oh a good note, I have to say that my job does carry some sweet perks. Today, specifically, one of my associates brought me some color for my desk, in an edible form. Thoughtful, right? You'd be surprised at how often, in the grand scheme of things, this happens to us here. It's an absolute reminder that our efforts [even on the most droning days] are appreciated. (: Thanks, Ronnie - the candy dish at my desk is now completely full!

Oh-Nine-Oh-Nine, Twenty-Eleven: The Big Deal

What's the big deal about 9.9.11?

Aside from it being 2 years from Sydni's original due date [9.9.09, would've been pretty cool, yeah?], today apparently has an interesting mathematical value. I wouldn't have thought to look into this, but kudos to the guy that did. I admire people who study the symmetry and mathematical values of certain dates and random occurrences, because I for one can't even get my accounting figures in order half the time ;).

You know what else is cool about today? It's Friday. That means this obnoxiously chaotic week is coming to a close, and the weekend is now upon us. Tomorrow is Landon's birthday party, so I should really go and wrap up the little gifts we have for him.
