I mentioned a couple nights back that Sydni and I were only halfway through with our Easter DIY projects. Well... we got to it tonight with some home-made Easter cards for the family! I was smart enough to cut out the outlines beforehand; tonight it was a matter of Sydni deciding what kind of randomness would become of each of the eggs.... From that, we ended up with some funky patterns: polka dots & zig zags, some yarn designs, a garden with "just TWO, MOMMY" purple flowers, and a pond scene [??], complete with goldfish, a butterfly and of course.... a turtle. Haha.
We made cards respectively for Daddy, Nana & Pappy, Mamaw, Dawny MiMi & Mindi. It was an evening filled with variegated yarn, card stock, pattern cut scissors, hole punches, mod podge, brads and sharpies. That's what every good kiddie-mama craft project is made of, right??? haha (:
When she was done with the egg cards, she made herself a nest inside of the mini ottoman toy box. Only my kid... haha. Stella did her due diligence and sat patiently by her side, hopefully glancing over occasionally to see if somehow some food would've materialized and fallen in front of her... Sorry stellbell, not this time.
