The way I see it, if it's gonna be a Monday, let it ring in big! Today was full of fun things....
First, we hired another new gal at work, and she started today! [Congratulations, Christine, and welcome to the craziness that is our office. We're excited to have her as our new Business Analyst [code for Outside Sales], and certainly look forward to working with her! I've got a good feeling about this year :)
Once work was behind us, I headed home to get settled in for the evening, and for the weekly airing of The Voice. This has become an anticipated weekly habit now - not just watching the show, but texting Nancy & Meagan during the commercial breaks and/or during contestant performances and questionable choices by the judges. It really doesn't take but the simple things to satisfy me.. haha.
We were about 3/4 of the way through the show when Joe pulled in the driveway, having returned much earlier than originally planned! HE'S HOME!!! Spain and all of its architectural majesty was apparently awesome, but we skipped those formalities and got right down to the gifts that Daddy had brought back with him for his two girls. Sydni is already fast asleep clutching onto her new doll, and I will certainly enjoy sporting new shoes... from Spain :). We'll hear all about the actual trip tomorrow when Joe's no longer jet-lagged and I'm not longer exhausted from a true runaround day.
